With our new online sticker ordering system, more people are finding it easier than ever to order their custom stickers online with us.

It’s mobile friendly and very easy to use but we’ve noticed a few scenarios where people sometimes get stuck along the way so we got inspired to write this article.

Here are 5 things to consider before you order custom stickers online.

1\ KNOW WHAT TYPE OF CUSTOM STICKERS YOU NEED

Before you place your sticker order, give some thought to what the intended purpose is for your custom stickers.

3 questions to ask yourself:

A: “What will my custom stickers be used for?”

If you’re using stickers for package labeling you may be most interested in sheet labels or roll labels.

If you’re ordering custom stickers for car windows, then depending on the design, you may want to consider clear stickers.

B: “How many custom stickers do I need?”

There isn’t always a significant difference in the cost of custom stickers between smaller and larger quantities, especially in terms of cost per sticker. The more you buy, the cheaper it is per sticker.

Since vinyl stickers have a very long shelf life (around 5 years when stuck outdoors, longer indoors and even longer when stored / unused), you can order more than you think you might need and know they likely won’t go to waste.

C: “How big should my custom stickers be?”

This ties in directly with the question about sticker purpose.

If your custom stickers are meant as promotional giveaways for people to stick to things they own like laptops and water bottles then you don’t want to go too big.

If your custom sticker order are for bumper stickers or something else meant to be seen at a distance than you’ll want to go with something a bit larger.

2\ WHEN TO ORDER YOUR CUSTOM STICKERS?

Depending on where you are ordering from, we may be able to get your stickers to you within a few days.

However even with a fast and friendly sticker printing service provider, it’s always good to order earlier than you think you need to in case there are any delays or snafu’s.

Delivery company hiccups, holidays you may have forgotten about, extra time needed for custom sticker design.

You don’t want to wait until the last minute to order your custom stickers so whenever possible, be proactive and order soon!

3\ GET YOUR CUSTOM STICKER FILE READY

Do you have a graphic ready to go?

This is especially important if you’re looking at printing custom logo stickers for your business.

The most popular file types are all accepted in our system (.jpg, .pdf, .png) so you have plenty of options, but it’s still smart to have the file reviewed and ready to upload before you start ordering custom stickers.

4\ WOULD YOUR STICKER BENEFIT FROM A SPECIAL EFFECT?

Ya ya, this may seem obvious but we’re all prone to rookie mistakes now and then.
